You knew it was going to come... or did you? I have someone to root for now that Speed is out of a seat. Sure I still like Alonso but I like the scrappers fighting for positions behind the ones who have the sweet rides.
The current Champ Car season ends in early December and the team have confirmed that Bourdais will join up with them then to conduct pre-season winter testing ahead of the new season and the first race in March.
"It has been a long time coming, but here we are," said Bourdais, who is currently racing for the Newman-Haas-Lanigan team in North America.
"I would like to thank everyone at Red Bull for believing in me and giving me this long-awaited opportunity to race in formula one."
Too bad Liuzzi isn't around to get spanked by Sebass.
