Hatfield wins in Australia!

Saturday, March 17, 2007
MST : 2:37 PM

Paul the Professor, Hatfield takes a win with a brushless-lipo combo that wasn't better in terms of pace but nipped the win from Troy Kendall of Red Bull with only one stop for fresh batteries. Clete Landefeld completed the excellent day for Red Bull by stepping on the podium for the first time.

The race was frought with action as two F103's on foam arrived. Seriously over-powered and limited on traction the direct-drive cars were outpaced by the all-wheel action of the F201's. Landefeld had his best day ever as an SLCF1 racer making but two trips off the driver stand to retrieve his "in the kitty litter" parked car. An exciting day for all who made the beggining of the 8th season for the F1 club.

Sky is the limit in SLCF1 for 2007. This will be one optimal ride for r/c racing.
